Razor Electric Scooter

Friday, November 20th, 2009

The Razor electric scooter range provides a ton of fun for kids of all ages and gives parents some time to relax while they’re out zooming around with friends. Quick charging and electrically powered.

Remember the days of bicycles and scooters? Scooters took just as much work, if not more, than riding your bike through the neighborhood. And let’s face it… they weren’t exactly the coolest looking pieces of play equipment, were they? Today though, kids have a ton of options and the scooters they zoom around on today are much cooler than what we used. The Razor E100 for instance! No matter what your kid’s favorite color is, you can probably find one in that color. You can choose from a red Razor E100, Silver Razor E100, or pink Razor E100.

All of the Razor E100’s will have your kid whizzing around in style with onlookers and friends wishing they had one of their own. Although it isn’t the newest scooter out there available, it’s still by far one of the best ones you could choose for your little one. They can zoom around on their red Razor E100 at speeds up to 10 miles per hour. They won’t have to keep stopping to charge it up either, because it can run for an amazing 45 minutes straight. It’s easy to control with twist grip acceleration and auto brake cut, so it’s a safe option too. Great for kids who are at least 8-years-old and weigh less than 55kg.

Mountain Bike Riding Trip

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

What a marvelous summertime it has been. We went on an spectacular mountain bike mountain bike ride through the Sequoias. Everything about the adventure was sensational except for the drive up there. I had my mtn bike on the back of the car and gear all packed up the night before. I left work early Thursday and started the drive alone. My meet up time was set for eight pm where I was to meet with my friends on the mountain since I didnt know where exactly the campsite would be. I had to make the timing just right otherwise I would not meet them. After that time, they were to expect that I got held up and would try again at the same spot at 10am the next day. This means if I was too late, I would end up sleeping in my car alone that night.

Turns out I made it through traffic and up the hill in time to unhook my bike, crack open a beer and ride up and down a couple of little hills before dark and before my buddies would arrive. The air was crisp and I was excited to be away from the city. The bike was in perfect shape and ready to hit some trails. The crew arrived to pick me up and show me where our spot was.

Our ride started early and we were ready with big packs stuffed with plenty of food and water. The first hill was killer and was a rude awakening to a very long ride. We pedaled over 10 miles uphill, that took over 2hrs. Making it to the summit was impressive. I chugged nice clean water out of my stainless steel water bottle.

The next 8hrs was spent jamming up and down hills, over fallen logs, off huge hits and hucking over big rocks. We half a few good breaks in between stopping to eat lunch and have a smoke at the three sisters, what an grand spot. The terrain was glorious and just right for some summertime riding. It was nice to see just a bit of snow left on the ground in certain spots.
