Online Dating Singles Advice for Guys

Friday, May 29th, 2009

There’s dozens of online dating advice for men and women online today. Here are many steps that will aid you out on your first date.

Step One -

Don’t act (pretend) to impress. Just be yourself. If she sees that you’re simply trying to impress her, she may lose interest. Try to pretend that she is just a acquaintance and you aren’t trying to win her over, and perhaps you’ll be comfortable enough to more easily be yourself.

Second Tip -

Remember - 1st impressions count! Make sure she doesn’t think you will be a boring partner. You shouldn’t speak to much - and try to balance the conversation. Don’t just say yes or no to her inquiries, but you also don’t want to tell your life story either. If you only talk about yourself, then you will sound highly arrogant and dull!

3rd Tip:

You need to look confident on your first singles date. You want to make her feel like you are wise and entertaining. When you speak, you need to sound sure, but not overbearing. Don’t make her detest you before she begins to experience you! You don’t want to make your 1st date, your last date!

For my last point of advice - you need to have fun with dating online! If you can, just try and forget your nervousness and envision she already knows you. Pretend like your not even on a date - but instead, simply hanging out with your friend. Hopefully your first date will be a unforgettable one.

How Much Bandwidth Is Too Much For Your Business??

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

For your company’s specific business applications….how do you decide on how much bandwidth will be necesary? Is it T1, DS3, or OC3 or greater? Do you factor in a reasonable overage to account for potential emergent situations? What modeling approach do you use to calculate your min and max load and thus your supportable need range? How do you decide how much is “enough”?

I suggest to address these issues that you apply an end to end approach. The parts are the workstation, communication link(s), server, database, and support systems (DNS for example).

Next, its important to remember that users do tasks. Any analysis must be based on the task concept. Also, the specific tasks in any application will likely differ by user type so its useful to look at the frequency of specific tasks by user group.

Each task can be looked at in terms of time. The total time is split among the parts. Before worrying about bandwidth, you should determine just where the time is being spent for each task. Don’t consider the user action in the task analysis - their keyboard time is best handled with scripts to eliminate that variable, and output is done when the screen is populated or the printout complete.

The communications aspect is impacted by volume of data moved, amount of communications overhead, background load, packet size, protocol, latency, and bandwidth.

While there are many “favorite” tools to speed the analysis, it can all be accomplished with a spreadsheet, a packet capture tool, and a knowledge of scripting.

There are some generals you can follow for this evolution.

First, while applications vary, most have yet to find the application that improves performance on any task when bandwidth goes above about 750Kb. Most see no improvement once bandwidth reaches 200Kb. Additional bandwidth then becomes an issue of user count. Next, most applications do not suffer performance drops until total average utilization goes above 80%.

The best time to define bandwidth requirements is during application development. The reason is that most applications can be tuned to perform with significantly less traffic while still in development, and the traffic is often a good indication of other problems like poor database structure or less than optimal distribution of work. The second best time is before purchasing an application. Often two similar applications will have significantly different WAN performance characteristics and this can be a key decision criteria.

So how much bandwidth is too much? If you can lease less than you currently have and lower your costs, you have too much.

I strongly suggest that you NOT enter directly into discussions with a bandwidth provider while deciding your bandwidth requirements. They’re more likely to be focused on “making a sale” than in helping you with your infrastructure decisions. Instead, seek the advice of an independent unbiased broker. They can walk you through the process to finding a solution which best makes business sense to you and your organization.

Chapter Seven Bankruptcy Means Test

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

Congress passed new bankruptcy laws in 2005 and they created new bankruptcy forms, one of which is the bankruptcy means test for those filing chapter 7 bankruptcy. The courts created the means test in order to see if you have enough disposable income to pay your debts, instead of having them discharged in bankruptcy. The means test must be finished along with credit counseling and a personal financial management course.

Consisting of 57 questions, the means test lists your income and expenses and compares them to national and local norms for your family size. If most of your debt is not primarily consumer debt, or you are a disabled veteran “the presumption does not arise”, and you do not have to complete the majority of the form. The means test presumption of abuse signifies that you may have enough income to pay your debts. If you have enough income and the presumption does arise, your chapter 7 may be dismissed or you can be forced into a chapter 13 bankruptcy.

The second area of the means test lists your income. . The third section will determine your average yearly income and compare it to the median family income based on the state you live in, and the size of your family. If you have a higher income than the other families, you must continue filling out the means test, if less, the presumption of abuse does not arise and you are done.

Next you’ll subtract living expenses for your family size and location, such as groceries, mortgage or rent, utilities and your car.

In part six the deductions listed in part five are calculated and used to determine how much disposable income you have left over. The presumption does not arise if you have under $6575 a year leftover, if you have more than $10,950, the presumption arises, if your available income is in-between there, then you have to continue the form to compare your unsecured debt to your left over income.

The bankruptcy means test is confounding, so consulting a bankruptcy attorney is always a good option before you file bankruptcy.

The Pros and Cons of Val D’Isere in the Alps

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

One of Europe’s most famous skiing areas, Val d’Isre vaunts 415 km of ski pistes. The skiing begins during mid November and terminates in the beginning of May. The purpose built French village supplies everything for you. The village stretches through the vale from La Daille up to Le Fornet with the focus on Val Village. The bunch of appealing homes incorporate dapper dress shops most of which have sprung up since the town was chosen for the Winter Olympics.

Spred over three areas the town has plenty of pistes for all levels and is great for luxury ski holidays. It has a cracking historical snow record, the village is hugely fashionable amidst advanced skiers and mileage hungry intermediates, on the other hand you do not have to be especially advanced to love what is on offer. It’s easy to why so many English are drawn to the town, with its exciting apres ski and the wide variety of entertainment on offer, moreover the close proximity of Tignes enables you to head out to quieter climes if it all gets too much.

Pros

A good night-life in the French Alps. Everybody talks English. Easy approach to both Val d’Isre and Tignes known collectively as the Espace Killy ski area. It has a lot of vehicles and although there are many buses in the daytime, devoted party animmals should aim to be within walking distance from the town centre.

Cons

Pricy. Busy and very popular with the English, so not for holiday makers seeking a classic French ski resort to relish a stress free trip. Numerous lifts can shut in windy conditions. A few tricky blue and green pistes.

A Most Refreshing Brand of Water

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

You’ll be pleased to know that the water from the water delivery company’s water coolers is the best you are likely to get. The company delivers spring water to customers in both 19litre and 12 litre bottles, fully compatible with all the coolers they also hire out and sell to clients across the UK. The water specialist company, Fonthill, is at the heart of the cooler company’s top end water. They extract pure spring water from a historic protected source deep in the hills of a Wiltshire Estate. This is filtered through limestone rock before coming out of modern boreholes. It is this process which gives the water its unique and complex mineral composition as well as its light and refreshing taste. Many people think that water is tasteless- hence why squashes and concentrate needing dilution are so popular. Every brand of water however has a different taste and texture which is a result of the way it has been treated before bottling. There is also a difference between mineral and spring water which I won’t go into now. The great thing about Fonthill water, is that it is bottled the same day it is extracted from the aquifier, and then tested thoroughly for any impurities.

Why It Pays To Listen Even When You Think They’re Nuts

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

My first published work became a bestseller as soon as it hit the bookshelves back in 1995 and it has been topping the lists ever since. Lucky you, some might say.

By and large the content has remained unchanged (apart from essential updating) and although ten years is a fair old run, what goes up must eventually come down.

So with that in mind I approached my publishing house with a suggestion for a commemorative 10th anniversary edition; new chapters, new cover, new cosmetics, new typesetting.

They loved the idea but balked at producing a new edition per se.

“Why?” I said, “It will start the ball rolling all over again.”

“No it won’t,” they said, “It will kill the golden goose.”

And so instead the publisher opted for a reprint dressed up as a new edition: new imprint, new chapters, new cosmetics, new typesetting - but no new cover; only a subtle color change to preserve continuity.

I thought they were nuts but they were right of course; stop supplying bookstores with a bestseller for five months and you risk consigning it to oblivion for evermore. And a block on supply there must be to allow the trade to dispose of existing stock.

That’s the price you pay with every new edition.

My author copies arrived a few days ago. I was well pleased with the new production and contacted the publishing house to express my satisfaction, intimating only mild concern over the lack of a new cover design.

“Oh, there will be a new cover,” they said. “We’ll incorporate that on the next reprint of the reprint - now that the link has been maintained”.

My idea was good but I hadn’t thought it through.

The publisher house did.

The 4th edition of “Starting Your Own Business” (How To Books ISBN 1845280709) will be appearing in bookstores worldwide mid-April 2005.

You and Algebra

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

Algebra traces relationships between things that change over time. These variables include things such as the relationship between supply of an object and its price. Maths is not an easy subject for most students. Many software applications are available with a assortment of subject intro so students able to handle any capacity of learning algebra can work around the subject without difficulty. It also assists students to comprehend utility of Algebra in real life as well as within industry field. Broader functions used in algebra include Graphing complex inequalities, Solving compound inequalities , Solving quadratic inequalities, Adding and Subtracting matrices etc.
Although algebra is an easy to follow course of study, students may face a lot of trouble if they do not practice the basic concepts hard enough. This makes foundation math skills important to help students successfully pass algebra and advance into more high-level math with self-confidence.

How to Successfully Tackle Algebra

The algebra software on offer in the market today offer far more useful guidelines and help than what is included in formal textbooks, such as homework assistance, interactive lesson plans, games and a worksheet tool or graphing calculator. The most useful software have all of these factors - ease of use and covering of all the topics.

Such instructional tools useful when various forms such as audio, video, animations and games are put in to use in order to instruct the lessons. Schools and colleges require that students complete algebra courses from pre-algebra to algebra II. Important topics normally include: Finding complement of an angle, inverse of functions, finding type of polynomial, determine if line is Laws of exponents, dividing rational expressions , finding equivalent fractions and Solving compound in equalities etc

How to Make Use of Algebra Software

Some algebraic software shows results only, while other (much more suitable for elementary algebra) show all the steps as well as explanations of mathematical basics that are being used. Students mostly concern over the ease of use of software. Thus, the software better be loaded with value added components like high quality and timely user assistance, enclosed help options, and simply explained algebra wizards.

Check out Attuverse Reviews

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

If you are thinking about att uverse you might want to to think about competition ; unless you enjoy substandard and never ending on hold times to speak with a person on the telephone.

You probably heard a load of happy uverse reviews so I’m giving the truth. I am really shocked at the amount of individuals who were so positive.

I’m heated because I was just on hold for 47 minutes to speak with anyone because my very 1st bill was a negative alert and a charge for $392. After transferring to several imbecils, I was finally transfered to a rep who allegedly could make a change on the charge. After 43 minutes on hold, I was told that the initial person I argued with could only modify it. So, that was pretty much way too long call that didn’t fix anything since the other office closed while I was holding.

In addition to that wonderful experience, I’ve had a monkey come to my place 10 times for the piss poor service. Nothing has been fixed. The only reasonI chose them is because the number of channels has great potential and it is less than the other providers. But honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this service to my worst enemy.
